//Just as I predicted not so long ago (here to be precise) the "stark contrast" has arrived-and man is it stark, I love it! Riotous colours and freaky patterns (thanks to Prada, Mulberry, Gucci etc.)- a complete antithesis to the quiet, understated style of the previous seasons. A hint of the refined maturity remains however, which relieves me immensely: I don't particularly appreciate the tacky and obscene.
//On another note, I do appreciate the work done by Vogue Australia: the editorials never fail to be beautiful, contemporary and on the spot.

//83/ Dress: The Powder Room
The Powder Room-Zoe Cassavetes
//Okay so quite simply, do yourself a favour and watch this. The Powder Room is the first of "The Miu Miu Women's Tales" series of short films made by international female film makers. The film, the clothing, the models kind of represent the transition period between youth and womanhood to me: The clothing is sensible yet bright and colourful and the models' behaviour in grown-up surroundings is somewhat timid.

//To me Bianca Balti is style, class and timelessness all rolled into one. And this editorial is very much Italy to me. Is it not beautiful?
