//193/ Look 012

Jumper: Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci- Black satin pullover with flower crown print
Bottoms: Acne- Flex mid-rise skinny jeans
Jacket: Elizabeth & James- Goat hair and rabbit jacket
Shoes: Michael Kors- Block-heeled suede ankle boots
Sunglasses: Illesteva- Frieda round-frame acetate sunglasses
i-Phone sleeve: Miu Miu- crocodile-stamped patent-leather iPhone sleeve

//I loved Givenchy´s tacky Fall 2011 show (see below) and the panther jumper was one of my favourites. I think animal print T-shirts/jumpers are going to become a thing. Remember I was the one that said that ;) Anyway here is my best take on panther...

//192/ Dress: Abbey Lee for Moussy

Moussy Fall 2011 Campaign
Photography: Terry Richardson
Model: Abbey Lee Kershaw

//After taking a season off following a bicycle accident (say what?), Abbey Lee is back in the Japanese label Moussy´s fall 2011 campaign looking somewhat... lackluster. She´s beautiful yeah, and her hair is fantastic sure, but the vacant look in her eyes is not selling this shit. Perhaps the drugged gaze is intentional but really, compare with the intensity in her eyes...that is beautiful.

//Anyway I dig the styling despite the fact that this rock-inspired look is really getting kind of tiring (leather pants and fur? How original...). And of course the hair is...phenomenal.

//191/ Dress: Spring 2011: Coat-Dress #2

Spring 2011/2012 Resort Collections

//And here another trend from the Spring 2011/2012 Resort Collections: the coat-dress. Always short, sometimes shiny, sometimes matt and really cool with a shirt underneath. I´m not entirely sure at what point a coat stops being a coat and starts being a dress but that isn´t really all that important. The fact of the matter is that it looks super elegant. My favourite here would have to be the khaki YSL or the Alexander Wang. Or maybe the silver Burberry Prorsum?

//The latex one worn by Toni Garrn here is also superb. Below is an illustration I did, if it seems a little elementary to you then, errr, that was totally intentional ;)

//190/ Streetstyle 025: Latex Couture

Markt am Mauerpark, Berlin

//How cool? Only in Berlin! The gentleman in clothed entirely in latex, from Bodycult. My favourite is this, take a look. Latex is super hot right now, always has been really,  (see previous post) and I will be posting more of it soon...

//189/ Dress: Marysweetmotherofgod

Publication: Numéro
Issue: #127
Fashion Editor: Frank Benhamou
Photography: Sean & Seng
Model: Toni Garrn

//There are those who still doubt the power of blonde...I hereby put all doubts to rest. Toni Garrn is a German model that was discovered at a Soccer World Cup fanfest (where else?) in 2006 and the rest is history (Chloé, Vogue, Burberry, Zara, Fendi, Prada to name a fraction of it).

//The styling is just how I like it. Simple. Sleek. Mature, with one eye-catching detail (feathers, latex, leather, sequins, large earrings...). Take note of the Coat-dress, more on that later.

//Ohhh and remember the editorial with Australian model Krystal Glynn from a few days ago?? She is now signed with DNA Model Management, check it out. Ya can´t say i have bad taste in people.

//188/ Photography: Relaxed Biking Part III

Relaxed Biking, Schöneweide, Berlin
Photography: Robin Hinsch
Models: Josephine Ebsen, The Peroxide Blonde

//Here is the final result, the behind-the-scenes of which you have seen here and here. There´s a bit of a clean nineties look going on, and a grown-up sporty feel to it (hence Relaxed Biking). If nothing else I hope it provides you with some amusement for the day, maybe the week. Josie and I certainly had fun!

//187/ Dress: Spring 2011: White Out #1

Spring 2011/2012 Resort Collections

//In the next few weeks preceding spring I will share some inspiration (call them trends if you must) for summer, taken from the Spring 2011 Ready-to-wear and 2012 Resort collections.

//Many designers steered away from colour and showed all-white looks. Textures included lace (D&G), chiffon (Céline), leather (Acne), worn with a little gold (Berardi), a splash of colour (Berardi,YSL) or kept simple (Calvin Klein Collection).

//My favourites are the Yves Saint Laurent (pure elegance) and the Acne (asyemmetric layers mastered).

//186/ Streetstyle 024

Bergmann Straße, Kreuzberg, Berlin

//My gorgeous friend Alex whom I miss dearly and her equally stunning cousin Ava rocking some basics. White tee and Ray-Bans...you can´t go wrong. Throw in a kick-ass hairstyle and it´s a winner. Or a super hot body and a snug black dress, et voilà!

//This is one of my favourite streets in Berlin, give it a visit when you´re in the city! It has become quite touristy, but the Cafés are superb, and the buildings are lovely.

//All the best for your adventures in France, Alex!

//185/ Look 011

Sunglasses: Prada-Butterfly-frame acetate sunglasses

//I don´t like outfits that are too obvious. I do like combinations of clothing that have you thinking...maaan I would never put that together but it definitely works. Outfits that require a deeper understanding of dress. Am I making any sense? At all? For instance, this could have been worn with a black or navy blouse and a matching clutch and heels, but that would be...predictable.

//To consolidate my point, take a look at The Man Repeller. While it may seem like she is just having a whole lot of fun, she most certainly masters the art of complicated dressing. To complete this outfit I would add a white blazer, which is kind of a trend right now.

//184/ Dress: White-Blond

Publication: Russh Magazine
Issue: #41
Hair: Michael Wolff
Photography: Stephan Ward
Model: Krystal (The Agency)

//As though you needed any more evidence that blond is the best, I bring you Krystal in the coolest shade of blond, literally: white-blond.

//The simple clothing by the Australian label Lover works perfectly because the blond in itself makes a considerable impact. And for all the Blondes out there: nothing goes better with your hair than a denim shirt...give it a try.

The Sunday Times Style
Styling: Sam Ranger
Photography: Emma Tempest

//How could you possibly resist that fantastic, infectious smile? And the fire-engine-red lips. And the popping colours. It is about time that summer came. I can't say I've ever worn a jacket with a bikini but maaan it looks awesome.

//181/ Berlin: Türkischer Markt

Türkischer Markt, Maybachufer, Kreuzberg, Berlin

//Another popular market in Berlin is the Turkish market where I got most of my groceries: delicious, fresh produce as well as materials and other odds and ends.

//In the photos is Laura from Dear Dorothy who paid me a visit in Berlin. Other than a super blog she also happens to have a beautiful clothing range which she gave me a perfect, perfect dress of (!)...I will photograph it soon. So long take a look at her range here and like her here and be sure to notice her awesome cuff.
