//202/ Meeting the parents: Lara Stone

Publication: T-Magazine
Issue: Fall Travel
Styling: Sara Moonves
Photography: Angelo Pennetta
Model: Lara Stone

//I have never much been a fan of Lara Stone mostly because she is just omnipresent, as in she is everywhere and has kind of become a celebrity and you know how I feel about celebrities... Having said that, I think going back to her roots and shooting her in her hometown and with her parents (!) is a super idea...she just gained another fan. But seriously, isn´t she gorgeous in her super dutch way?...her parents on the other hand...how on earth??

//The clothing too is attractive but not really out of the ordinary. I love the Givenchy jumper she is wearing on the photo with her parents....yeah I bet she grew up wearing Givenchy jumpers.

//201/ SS2012: Gucci

Gucci SpringSummer 2012 Ready-to-Wear

//Frida Giannini presented a beautiful, luxurious Spring/Summer collection that I feel will become significant for its very directional, distinctive, wearable, jazzy, 1920s, Art Deco feel. Erghhh what I´m trying to say is this shit is going to be trendy cos its hot. There. But seriously, how wearable is this? Sometimes I like clothing that is pure beauty and quality, no complications, no cute ugliness.

//199/ SS2012: Prada

Prada SpringSummer 2012 Ready-to-Wear

//Here are my favourite looks from the Prada show that took place in Milan a few hours ago. I will take you through the best looks from the important shows in New York, London, Milan, Paris over the next weeks...

//Miuccia Prada has (thankfully) toned down the colours a lot since last spring. Yes, bright colours and colour-blocking was great, and still is, but it got somewhat tiring wouldn´t you say? Now it´s still a form of blocking but the colours are tamed pastels which suit the 50s-style cuts. The prints are innovative as always...last season it was banana-print and now we have cars (I think?), super no?

//I love the wet-look top too, but I think the most covetable item is most probably the large clutch...the best.

//198/ Photography: Berlin Maybachufer

Maybachufer, Kreuzberg, Berlin

//I have been scarce of late, splitting my time between sitting in court and writing essays about things I don´t care much for. I will however review some of the fantastic things that have been happening at the Spring 2012 Ready-to-wear shows in New York and London shortly. For now I will leave you with a rather nondescript photograph of the leafy Maybachufer in Kreuzberg, not far from my place of residence in Berlin. Thanks to the many of you that pop in daily, I can´t imagine what keeps you coming :)

//197/ Dress: Studio W Campaign

Studio W Fall 2011 Campaign
Photography: Nagi Sakai
Styling: Vittoria Cerciello
Model: Elsa Sylvan

//You may already have seen the impressive campaign for Woolworth´s Studio W featuring swedish model Elsa Sylvan. I´m somewhat confused as to why we are getting a fall campaign when spring has just started but that really is just secondary-what matters is that we now have campaigns of a first-world calibre in our shops...and it does make a difference.

//195/ Dress: Revival

In love with the city
Publication: Vogue Japan
Issue: September 2011
Photography: Arthur Elgort
Model: Karlie Kloss

//The sixties/seventies come-back is now stronger than ever, with shift dresses (more on those soon) and beehives everywhere, not to forget the coat-dress that I mentioned no so long ago. I love the primness of it all, and Karlie does prim better than anyone else.

//I have been awfully busy of late, which would explain my lack of posting. I am proud to announce however that I have written my first post for WeAreAwesome, take a look here and here. Yeah so the photos could be better but I like `em nonetheless.

//Keep well,
