//257/ Kenzo Fall RTW 2012

Kenzo Fall RTW 2012

//Humberto Leon and Carol Lim have been at the head of Kenzo for two years, and this year they definitely mixed it up a little. The collection was inspired by interior decor (? hence the interesting carpet-like materials): some looks were a little boring, others just didn't make sense and a handful of looks were simply perfect (see above). The designers emphasized tailoring and this is most certainly apparent in that dreamy suit (middle). Otherwise I loved the wide-legged pants, the booties, the slick Doc Marten-style shoes and the perfect little handbags.

//235/ Karlie for Hedi Slimane

Publication: Vogue Japan
Issue: December 2011
Photography: Hedi Slimane
Model: Karlie Kloss

//This is the result of a private session with Karlie Kloss and Hedi Slimane. I love the sensuality in Hedi Slimane´s photography...these photographs especially are loaded with intensity. I think it also has to do with Karlie´s complete control over her body, beautiful!

//On another note, these photographs highlight the flimsy, delicate allure of chiffon: pretty and light-perfect for summer.

//195/ Dress: Revival

In love with the city
Publication: Vogue Japan
Issue: September 2011
Photography: Arthur Elgort
Model: Karlie Kloss

//The sixties/seventies come-back is now stronger than ever, with shift dresses (more on those soon) and beehives everywhere, not to forget the coat-dress that I mentioned no so long ago. I love the primness of it all, and Karlie does prim better than anyone else.

//I have been awfully busy of late, which would explain my lack of posting. I am proud to announce however that I have written my first post for WeAreAwesome, take a look here and here. Yeah so the photos could be better but I like `em nonetheless.

//Keep well,

//59/ Dress: Dior Spring 2011 Campaign

Dior Spring 2011 Campaign
Photography: Steven Meisel
Model: Karlie Kloss

//Surprisingly of all the new campaigns coming out for the season this is one of my favourite despite the fact that I don't particularly like Karlie Kloss (though she is growing on me). I like the clear island-style inspiration and the poster-like rework...
