Kenzo Fall RTW 2012

//Humberto Leon and Carol Lim have been at the head of Kenzo for two years, and this year they definitely mixed it up a little. The collection was inspired by interior decor (? hence the interesting carpet-like materials): some looks were a little boring, others just didn't make sense and a handful of looks were simply perfect (see above). The designers emphasized tailoring and this is most certainly apparent in that dreamy suit (middle). Otherwise I loved the wide-legged pants, the booties, the slick Doc Marten-style shoes and the perfect little handbags.

//The sixties/seventies come-back is now stronger than ever, with shift dresses (more on those soon) and beehives everywhere, not to forget the coat-dress that I mentioned no so long ago. I love the primness of it all, and Karlie does prim better than anyone else.

//Surprisingly of all the new campaigns coming out for the season this is one of my favourite despite the fact that I don't particularly like Karlie Kloss (though she is growing on me). I like the clear island-style inspiration and the poster-like rework...
