//231/ Cape Town: Little Ethiopia

Little Ethiopia, 76 Shortmarket Street, Cape Town

//It positively hurts me to share a secret as good as this, but I promised Yeshi I would put up these photos, so here ya go.

//Little Ethiopia really seems like just a little hole in the wall- it can´t be much bigger than 20 square meters- but it opens its doors to an ambiance that belies its appearance. Appart from the friendly and comfortable atmosphere, which its small size only adds to, the food is delicious, authentic and (for those that care) healthy. You are given no cutlery, which kind of forces you to eat using the injera (that pancake-like bread) to scoop up your food...be sure to wash your hands in the little sink beforehand!

//If your looking for an authentic, memorable African meal in Cape Town, be sure to pop in, or don´t...I have a feeling the place will soon be so popular that they will have to expand...

//230/ Berlin: Colourful Memory

Oderberger Straße, Berlin

//To me the appearance of a place is more important than what it has to offer (no worries, I don´t apply the same criterium to people (!)...). The memory of this lunch is etched into my brain because of the beautiful bright colours that worked so well together...the food was less than memorable but that was kind of secondary to me. It may seem bizarre but it must derive from an desire to move in and see only spaces and things that are aesthetically pleasing...and places to take in food are no exception!

//138/ Cape Town: Dear Me

Dear Me, Longmarket Street, Cape Town

//Dear Me is a lovely brasserie with delicious food, great decor and plants hanging from the roof (!): pretty much the perfect place to take lunch. Here are some photos...I did however forget to photograph the food, which is decidedly the best part! The prices are on the upper half of average but the food is fresh and the dishes are original so it is very much worth it....
