//160/ Photography: Cape Town Berlin 01

Oranienstraße, Berlin & Kloofnek Rd, Cape Town

//In order for you to fully understand these photographs I will have to do some explaining. I recently photographed a Berlin friend of mine, Laurent, so that we could build him a sort of portfolio. One of the rolls of film I used was an old one with Cape Town images on it, resulting in strange but beautiful, strongly metaphorical and completely coincidental overlapping of images of Berlin and Cape Town. Here is the first set, enjoy.

//In respect to editorials there has been a distinct lack in anything inspiring lately. But beach and summer wear is always easy and likable, so enjoy. In other news, I have been photographing all over Berlin, a city full of inspiration. Watch this space.

//158/ Cape Town: Last Impressions

Milner & Hillside, Tamboerskloof, Cape Town

//I have in fact arrived in Berlin safely, but the city has been lapping up my time, energy and various other resources so much that I have not yet had the time to develop the photographs I have taken. I therefore leave you with these images that are from just before I left. Hopefully the coming week will see me returning to normal posting patterns...

//156/ Peroxide Blonde

Peroxide Blonde, Tamboerskloof, Cape Town

//I have been putting this off for a while now but I made a promise so here you go: me in blond. I have since had my hair done again and it is now shockingly blond, though more Malibu Barbie than etheral white-blond. Nonetheless I can now confirm that it is true what they say...blondes do have more fun.

//At this point I would also like to thank my readership, which is not only larger than I would ever have expected, but also surprisingly multi-cultural. Thanks to you the Peroxide Blonde now has 10 388 views, the most from South Africa, France and Germany, but also from the USA, the UK, Russia, Australia, Canada, Qatar, Malaysia, Italy, Netherlands and dozens more...
