//Woaaah, is this not awesome?? Meet Sheri Lee from SA Fashion Girl and her errrr extensive shoe collection (100+ to be more precise...gasp). Thanks to her obsession she was recently chosen to do an interview and shoot for Self Magazine China. She appointed Elle New Talent Photography Awards winner Freddie Child-Villiers (who is fantastic by the way, have a look here) to do the photography and voilà this is the result. I think the concept is so well developed: the idea of the shoes taking over is central here.
//Sheri Lee is a graduate of FEDISA (which is pretty much the only decent fashion school in Cape Town) and is currently blogging fulltime and travelling (jealous much?? take a look at her blog). She has a super cool style which is very clearly a result of different stages in her life: from glitter and fluff in the 2000s to punk and gothic influences later on in her life. What I particularly like about her style is that she manages to strike the perfect balance between delicate femininity and a punk-goth edge (take a look here and here).
//Something she would never wear? Uggs (yes!! I totally aggree, when I see short denim skirts with Uggs I get close to having a nervous breakdown. every. time.) and snakeskin (huh? I have no objection to that).
//Her most memorable experience? Walking out on the runway after her 2010 graduation collection show...have a quick look here, cool huh?
//Something she could not live without? (We are talking dress-wise here.) Accessories: she overloads on necklaces, rings, earrings. (I wish I could say the same but I mostly just couldn't be bothered with accessories and end up wearing the same necklace and bracelet everyday...lame.) Thanks for answering those questions Sheri...
