//164/ Streetstyle 020

U-Bhf Weinmeisterstraße, Berlin

//During fashion week there were even more well-dressed people on the streets in Berlin than usual. This stylish girl's friend was hoping that she had been discovered as a model by me...no such luck...

//163/ Dress: Augustin Teboul Show Berlin

Augustin Teboul
"Dreams are my reality"
Bötzow Bräuerei, Saarbrücken Straße, Berlin

//My mind was blown by Augustin Teboul yesterday (thanks to a place on the guest list courtesy of Styleproofed): a hauntingly beautiful show that brought together delicate, intricately crafted clothing, stunningly spooky music and a wonderful venue. I have tried to create an impression of the mood with these few images,  but I'm afraid they do not even nearly suffice...

//I loved the combination of solid black and leather with intricately woven details. Apart from the beautiful headpieces I liked the orange lip colour and, naturally, the blond wigs...

//In the last image are the designers, Annelie Augustin and Odély Teboul.

//162/ Streetstyle 019

Kurfürstendamm, Berlin

//I wasn't too mad about what this girl was wearing, but took this photo rather to prove how far a good hairstyle can go in making a look. Despite her fairly ordinary clothing, the girl looks super cool thanks to her bangin' 'do...

//Her friends started yelling that she should take off her sunglasses to show her eyes...gorgeous no?

//161/ Dress: Washed Up

Washed Up
Publication: B-Magazine
Issue: #4
Styling: Jason Hughes
Photography: Aitken Jolly
Models: Hannah Nobel, Marique Schimmel, Harmony

//Feel free to disagree, but in my opinion this is an ideal, perfectly harmonic marriage of design and photography: both the dress and the photography underline the subtle, stylised reference to exaggerated 80s/90s fashion.

//160/ Photography: Cape Town Berlin 01

Oranienstraße, Berlin & Kloofnek Rd, Cape Town

//In order for you to fully understand these photographs I will have to do some explaining. I recently photographed a Berlin friend of mine, Laurent, so that we could build him a sort of portfolio. One of the rolls of film I used was an old one with Cape Town images on it, resulting in strange but beautiful, strongly metaphorical and completely coincidental overlapping of images of Berlin and Cape Town. Here is the first set, enjoy.
