//This is somewhat overdue: Stella McCartney's fall collection. The large sleeves received vicious criticism but I really don't find them all that outrageous-as long as they don't trigger an eighties revival...What I most loved about this show? The choice of models: Abbey Lee, that goes without saying, but also the voluptous, blue-eyed, South-African beauty that is Candice Swanepoel. And then of course Karmen Pedaru, Sasha Piv, Anja Rubik etc.

//I'm afraid there is no way I can write about the 2011 Fall/Winter fashion weeks and not mention Jil Sander, who is undoubtedly at least partially responsible for the colour monster that has been unleashed upon us. There was some subtle colour-blocking going on in the collection, but the main idea was solid minimalism and bright colours. My favourite?? It would have to be the cobalt blue, how beautiful...
