//Now that is is officially spring- yesterday was the spring equinox- I am impatient for the sun to come out. The hours spent dreaming of days whiled away on the beach, lazing in the sand and having nothing- nothing at all- to worry about are what keep me going these days. Luckily I have photographs, music and blogs to help me reminisce of summer and dig up those memories.

On a side note, Alix has an amazing style too: as the name of her blog suggests, her sense of dress is very feminine, romantic and I dare say slightly girly. She is a stylist, designer and blogger that has achieved quite a status in the fashion industry. Apart from owning her own label "by Alix" she is also France's most prominent fashion blogger (along with Pandora). Be sure to look at her wedding photos! As much as I disapprove of the concept of marriage, the photographs of her wedding are truly magical.

//And now to jump-start this silly idea of mine. In order to satiate my burning desire to write, I will introduce you to Terry Richardson: one of the most prolific and compelling photographers of his generation. I copied and pasted that last bit- those are not my actual words, even less my actual thoughts. And I got that from the biography on his site: talk about conceit! He is kind of a big deal in the fashion industry though so maybe his conceit is justified. 

//Beyond being a prolific photographer he is also a- get this- international celebrity. That translates to socialite that sleeps with plenty international models. Enough with the criticism though: I admit that he is a talented photographer and his photographs are nothing short of captivating. Check out his portfolio at terryrichardson.com.

The beginning of something great.

This is ridiculous. It's just before midnight and freezing and I have gotten out of bed to realise this silly idea of mine. Truth is, I have had it for a while, though it was only until a few minutes ago that it started fleshing out. Not enough for me to be able to tell you what this is all about, but just enough for me to start this blog, journal, notebook, or whatever else you would like to call it. One fact is certain however: I will remain anonymous. Until you find out who I am, that is...
